Just posting to mention something that's been on my mind for a little while now...

Back when I found this forum, I rabidly read through every post (over 1000 by that point) and was immediately hit by how together you guys are. I've been on many BBSs and MLs, but very few have managed to keep the feeling of camraderie and the general joie de vive that is so present here without degenerating into bickering, name-calling, and rampant OTness (Pooh and Tigger thread? What Pooh and Tigger thread? ).

I'm also very impressed with how, despite the pulling together in the face of adversity (or in the face of non-NC-loving X-men fans), you guys aren't cliquey. I had no hesitation in posting here my first time, no fear that I'd be completely overlooked (or, at least, not on purpose), and no fear that I'd be shot down for anything I said. I wasn't ever on the other BBSs that've been mentioned around here, but I feel... very at home here. Keep up the good work - you guys are way cool.

I think it was actually a few random comments on a different thread that marred my viewing of the Tigger movie later that day. Something horridly wrong pertaining to Pooh and whatever he does in his spare time that happens to be drawn (or photomanipulated) by people with too much time on their hands.

I've noticed the same thing, and I don't think it's completely our fault. We certainly didn't become friends on purpose, it just sorta happened, and I think that's the real comradery around here, that we're all NC fans, and, therefore, intelligent, friendly people who really kinda take the X-Books to heart.
